When you submit a quote request through our website, we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your postcode
- Details about the job (type and description)
- Photos you upload of the issue or property
We may also collect standard technical data automatically when you visit (IP address, browser type, pages visited) via server logs or analytics tools.
3. Why we collect it and our legal basis
- To respond to your quote request — pre-contractual steps at your request (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To contact you about the job — legitimate interest in following up on your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To improve our service — legitimate interest in understanding the types of jobs requested (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. How we store your data
Quote request details and uploaded photos are stored securely on our web hosting server, hosted in the EU by Hostinger. Access is restricted to authorised Bath Fitters LTD staff, protected by password authentication. The website uses HTTPS encryption; uploaded photos are kept in a protected folder and are not publicly indexed or shared.
5. How long we keep your data
We retain quote request data (including contact details and photos) for up to 3 years from submission, or until the job is complete and any guarantee period has elapsed — whichever is longer. You may request deletion at any time via info@plumbingo.london.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share your data with:
- Our hosting provider (Hostinger) — to store website data securely.
- Suppliers and merchants — only where needed to price or source products for your job, and only the details necessary.
- Legal or regulatory authorities — if required by law.
